Cote How isn’t just a wedding venue to me – it’s where I got married.

I know first-hand just how special Cote How is. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, take everything in and focus on what really matters – the two of you, the people you love and the moments you’ll want to remember forever.

I was lucky enough to get married at Cote How, with our day beautifully captured by the wonderful Jenna Carpenter, and it’s given me an even deeper love for the venue and everything it represents. The intimacy, the character, the incredible Lake District setting and the feeling that your wedding is truly yours.

Alongside creating wedding content, I have over 10 years’ experience in marketing and communications, with extensive experience within the wedding industry. I love storytelling and, in particular, the little moments that can so easily get missed on a wedding day – the excitement getting ready, the nervous laughs, the flowers, the details, the in-between moments, the reactions and all the completely unplanned bits that you’ll want to relive.

For me, wedding content creation isn’t about taking over your day or asking you to constantly pose for the camera. It’s about being there, quietly capturing it as it happens, and creating beautiful, authentic content that feels like you.

I have a real soft spot for intimate weddings and elopements, and Cote How is the perfect setting for them. Whether you’re saying your vows in the gardens, exploring the woodland, heading off on an adventure or simply spending time together with the people who matter most, there are so many moments worth capturing.

A little note 

I’m not your photographer, and that’s the point.

I work alongside your photographer to capture the moments they might not be able to. While they’re creating those gorgeous, considered images, I’m capturing the in-between moments on my phone – the laughter, excitement, reactions and completely unplanned moments.

Because sometimes the video you’ll watch a hundred times isn’t the perfectly posed shot.

It’s your dad laughing in the background. Your best friend crying. Your husband seeing you for the first time. Everyone dancing. The chaos. The little moments you didn’t even know were happening.

And you get to see it all almost straight away.
